Sea

On the beach of Sint Maartenszee, about six kilometres from our park, you can still enjoy peace and quiet and the pleasant atmosphere on the beach. No endless traffic jams on sunny days, no pounding music from trendy beach bars and no crowded beaches. Here, you still have the space on the beach and you can stroll at your leisure through the dunes to the beach.

At one of the beach pavilions, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and cake, a refreshing drink or a delicious evening meal in a real beach atmosphere. It is not for nothing that many of our guests come back every year.

Dunes

Walking through the dunes is a pleasure here. You can wander around for hours. Enjoy orchids, butterflies and birds in spring and summer and the wealth of mushrooms in autumn and winter.

There are beautiful views from high dune tops. In the season, you will see many pink and purple orchids in bloom in the wet dune valleys. You then walk for kilometres along the beach. Get a breath of fresh air with the sound of the surf. If the weather is nice, you can go for a swim!

A little further on you will walk into the Pettemer dunes. It is a sheltered walk in the bushes. You can spot birds from the observation huts. No less than 80 species breed here, including a colony of cormorants. In autumn and winter, it is a paradise for mushrooms. You can also find special and rare species along the path.
